
Faith In Action January 2010 Haiti Disaster Relief Effort At the request of the United Nations, Catholic Relief Services CRS is supplying shelter, food, and water to 50,000 people at the first Haitian relief camp. In addition, CRS has formed six medical teams to provide health care throughout the area. To date, 404,179 has been collected through the Diocese of Grand Rapids for CRSs Haiti Relief Effort. This includes daily contributions and donations received through special parish collections.
